Under minimal supervision, responsible for advanced, diversified and confidential administrative support for management and their department. Requires continuous us of technical and business vocabulary and detailed knowledge of organization operations, organizational procedures and personnel. Relieves management of some administrative detail such as report and presentation preparation. Schedules appointments, meetings and travel itineraries. Uses various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, etc. to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents. Relies on experience and exercises judgment to complete tasks independently.

Prepares and distributes critical reports and communications of a highly confidential nature. Ability to plan and execute on & off-site meetings. Creates presentations and prepares meeting materials Coordinates schedules. Prioritizes incoming requests. Delegates as needed. Investigates diverse issues independently using sound judgment. Maintains records and runs complex reports. Analyzes results. Researches discrepancies that may exist and offers possible solutions. Screen calls, visitors and correspondence. Evaluates incoming documents and/or requests to determine appropriate action to be taken. Advises others on executive’s views of policies and issues. Performs other administrative duties as required.

To meet the demands of our customers, a 24/7 operation is required. As such, we must support and or cover weekend and night shifts. Minimum requirements

Associates degree with experience listed below OR High School Diploma with 8 or more year’s experience. Preferred Level: BA/BS Degree. English Six to Nine years’ experience in an administrative role. The Clinical Outcomes Specialist (COS) is responsible for providing proper training and ensuring clinical competence for all ORA customers. The COS will provide in-service training as well as clinical, technical application and educational support in the field. The COS will support physicians regionally in the field, but will also spend time acting as the primary feedback loop between physicians, COS team, and management team. The COS will review clinical outcomes reports with the surgeons for which they are responsible.

• Provide training for physicians and staff on the use of the ORA System Platform.
• Support Clinical efforts at customer site(s) via Clinical Support & Monitoring on sur-gery days, reviewing post-ops & patient follow-up and supporting clinical data collec-tion for completion and compliance with GCP.
• Provide 1st line medical & clinical outcomes phone, e-mail and on-site support for the ORA System Platform in the Domestic marketplace.
• Act as a clinical outcomes trainer by mentoring, coaching and assisting new employ-ees. Function includes assisting in recruiting, interviewing, and performance devel-opment as well as on-the-job- training (OJT) of clinical outcomes personnel within the Domestic and possibly International region.
• Support the development of individual training plans to support the on-going devel-opment of new Clinical Outcomes Specialists.
• Observe, monitor and report clinical trends by keeping current with clinical results for assigned sites
• Monitor assigned surgeons’ lens usage so that optimization can be done in a timely fashion.
• Attend & support trade shows, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars & wet-labs as requested.

• BS/BA in biomedical field or COT/COA preferred.
• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED certificate required.
• Fluent in English.
• Ophthalmic experience is required.
• Candidates with at least three years of clinical applications experience re-quired, preferably in cataract surgery.

• Ability to travel up to 75% to commercial sites in the U.S. and possibly International.
