Medium Enterprise - Director, Ontario Sales

The Director, Ontario Sales will report to the SVP, Medium Enterprise. Our preferred candidate will have the responsibility to transition a diverse sales force and partner with other Directors to oversee all sales efforts for Medium Sales, meeting and exceeding sales targets and productivity objectives. The successful candidate will lead the development of sales strategies and performance standards, managing the overall relationships between Rogers and corporate accounts. They will be a seasoned veteran of both sales and sales leadership in a dynamic, solutions oriented environment.

- Coach, develop and lead account managers, account consultants and sales support representatives

- Recruit, train and develop new employees, as well as the ongoing formal training and development of existing sales people

- Lead, participate and facilitate sessions with team members which are directed in the development of selling, retention strategies and focused on team goals

- Ensure that sales strategies support the organizational objectives, are profitable and position the company for long-term growth

- Work cooperatively and successfully with cross-functional peers

- Effective management of sales operations (OPEX, forecasting and headcount)

- Execution of funnel management, forecasting and other sales financial analysis

- Proven managerial success and financial aptitude

- Natural leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of individuals

- A healthy mix of tenacity, commitment and pragmatism to successfully lead a team and grow our business within a competitive and challenging environment

- Experience developing, leading and coaching a team of successful sales professionals

- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of Data products and services

Requirements

- Proven managerial success and financial aptitude

- Natural leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of individuals

- A healthy mix of tenacity, commitment and pragmatism to successfully lead a team and grow our business within a competitive and challenging environment

- Experience developing, leading and coaching a team of successful sales professionals

- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of Data products and services

- University degree with prior experience within the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record for achieving results will be an asset

- Passion for your job, your team and your company

- Excellent understanding of market trends and competitive issues

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proven ability to prepare and deliver professional documents and presentations to all levels of an organization

- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills

Travel Requirements: Up to 50%
