Role synopsis
The Wamsutter Measurement Team Leader (CTL) is responsible for leading a team of measurement technicians and specialists to assure measurement activities are safely conducted in accordance with BP, regulatory, and industry standards.

The Measurement Team Leader role is demanding and challenging and therefore requires an individual who has well developed interpersonal skills, is self motivated, enables and drives team development, and is capable of working within a broader team to deliver continuous improvement to the Wamsutter operation.

Key accountabilities
•Responsible for development of safety culture of Measurement Team by personal behaviors, standards, auditing & coaching
•Provide positive and supportive leadership to staff
•Monitor and ensure competence of the Wamsutter measurement team
•Ensure accurate gas and liquids measurement
•Validate that yearly calibration records of equipment and devices have been certified and files are kept on each device
•Ensure annual witnessing and calibration of all BP meters and metering stations that deliver and measure BP gas is conducted
•Verify calibrations are tracked and PMs are created in Maximo for all BP meters
•Coordinate with State, BLM and BP on initial and annual well tests
•Complete annual compiling of notice to State and BLM for current year meter calibrations
•Manage initial and annual sampling of new well gas
•Act as the liaison between purchaser, working interest owners, and BP for EFM data, historical data, audit data, etc
•Obtain volume inquiries, originating from working interest and mineral interest owners
•Ensure all regulatory agencies’ requirements are being followed (API Standards/On-shore orders/State of Wyoming/BLM Wyoming NTL)
•Utlize Flow-cal and Test-it to edit data and calibrate meters to create an audit trail
•Actively seek and share work practices to improve performance of the team and business
•Deliver business objectives in alignment with BP policies, procedures and expectations (CoW, OMS, IM, SPCC, WMS, EMS)

Essential Education
•A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Essential experience and job requirements
•5 years of experience in oil and gas industry
•Previous supervisory experience
•Knowledge and understanding of industry codes and standards
•Proficient facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
•Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and problem solve
•In depth knowledge of well testing
•In depth knowledge of natural gas sampling
•Strong knowledge of Measurement including API standards/Onshore orders/State of Wyoming/BLM NTL
•Highly proficient computer skills
•Valid driver’s license

Eligibility Requirements

•Recognized as a leader in measurement
