How can I reformat my external drive with the PC after it had been reformatted by my Satelite receiver?

I used my WD Passport HD to back up my DVR recordings on my Dish receiver before it got replaced. There was nothing on the Passport which was formatted with the WD Smartware, but was reformatted with the Dish formatting needed to save the DVR media recordings. Now when I try to backup my laptop with the Passport, it is not recognized at all. I cannot format it as a writable drive because the Passport is not even recognized on an external drive. I can connect the Passport to Dish and it reads my DVR recordings fine. How can I get the Passport to be recognized on a PC again? I am fine losing whatever DVR recordings are saved.

Would the following hardware work well for a gaming platform?

Hello everyone ! I’m planning on upgrading my PC because the hardware I have now is starting to get pretty old… I use my PC most for gaming, recording (gameplay footage with commentary) and editing (most of the time using Sony Vegas or Adobe AA). Now, I’m planing to upgrade my processor to i7 4770k because it is pretty powerful processor and I have heard it is good for that kind of stuff; with the processor I will need to upgrade my motherboard so I’m planning to upgrade to MSI z87-G45. Now my question is, would this upgrade be reasonable and would this setup last some time for me?

Other specs:

GPU: Sapphire HD7850

RAM: 4GB

PSU: Can’t remember the actual number but I think its between 850W-900W

HDD: 500GB SATA Drive + Seagate Ext. 2TB Drive

How can I reset my Facebook password which I have forgotten, seeing as my phone number has changed?

Hello,

I have tried a lot of solutions by searching, but no solution worked for my situation. I opened my Facebook account on Facebook application (I phone) then I forgot my password or someone has changed it. I no longer have access to my Hotmail account and I have changed my phone number. Every time I try to change my password or my mobile number it asks me to provide the old password that I have forgotten. Please what to do?
