Leaked: Complete List of Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL Specifications Emerge

Google is all set to hold their hardware event on the 4th of October in San Francisco. It is highly anticipated that at this event we will witness the launch of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones.

The phones have leaked a number of times in the past, with the last leak revealing the design of the phones. Today, new reports have come out which indicate the complete specifications of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have leaked. Let us take a closer look at what these reports have to say about the upcoming Google smartphones:

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL: What To Expect

Specifications: Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

Google Pixel 2, as well as Pixel 2 XL will both be coming out into the markets with more or less the same specifications. The biggest difference between the two phones, like last year, would be screen size. The regular sized Pixel 2 is expected to come out into the markets with a 5 inched display while the larger of the two will feature a 5.5 inched display. However, Pixel 2 XL is expected to come out with slimmer bezels than the regular Pixel 2 – with a body to screen ratio expected to be almost that of 85%.

Both the phones are expected to come out with dual stereo speakers and no headphone jack. However, only a few regions would be getting USB Type-C Headphones in the box while others would get a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter. Both the phones would have their display protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Kinda Blue variant of the Pixel 2

The Google Pixel 2 will be powered by a 3,520mAh battery while the smaller of the two would come with a 2700mAh battery. Both these phones would come out with Android Oreo pre-installed and are expected to get a guaranteed update to Android P and Android Q. Both these phones feature ‘Active Edge’ squeezable edges technology. Google Pixel 2 as well as Pixel 2 XL are said to come out in 64GB and 128GB variants.

These leaked specifications come via Android Authority. The website claims that they have access to an exclusive source and the details provided by him come via an internal document from Google.
