MyFirstCheque, a seed fund which invests up to Rs 25 lakh in start-ups, has invested in PoshVine.com an online restaurant booking website. PoshVine partners with premium restaurants to offer dining experiences with price advantages. The money raised would be utilized for expanding the business to other major cities. Richik Nandi, Co-Founder, PoshVine said, "We knew there was an opportunity for a platform where foodies discover unique culinary experiences offered by passionate people in the community and which offers solutions for 'everyday affluent' consumers who want flexibility, choice and personalised service." Gautam Sinha, Partner at MyFirstCheque said, "We believe that PoshVine will play a catalytic role as the Indian consumer aspires to create memories from dining and the online reservation with insider benefits and curated gastronomical experiences at premium restaurants is the first step towards that." PoshVine was founded by Garima Satija, Rafi Ali Khan and Richik Nandi. Satija was previously an HR professional and Richik has had prior business experiences while working with Microsoft, American Express, Asian Paints and is an alumni of Kellogg and XLRI Jamshedpur.
