The popular remote control software RealVNC has been updated to version 5.1.1. The release mainly includes bug fixes but there is an added feature for the Windows version.
RealVNC 5.1.1 allows you to control the automatic update checks at the command line when VNC is installed. The following issues have also been fixed:
- An issue when setting the same port for VNC connections (RfbPort) and for VNC Viewer for Java downloads (HttpPort).
- VNC Server no longer incorrectly reports that a standard license key is not valid for the current domain. (Windows)
- Users can now connect if the display is asleep even if a password is required to wake the display. (Mac OS X)
RealVNC 5.1.1 is available to download now through FileHippo.
