Why is msvcr100.dll crashing Internet Explorer?

http://ift.tt/1iZHv9S

How do I fix everything that’s wrong with Windows, such as interpreting events and logs, finding reports, tracing?

So I’m trying to help plasticbrain (and myself!) regarding event 1000… The saga continues:

I’ve just read Mr. Basu’s quite unequivocally titled, “How To Solve Any Windows Problem with Event ID“, alas there’s ZERO info on what to do with:

Report Id: 56c10619-c30b-11e3-96a3-82808c2b152a

…and the comments, of course, are closed, because the article was written more than 180 days ago and therefore couldn’t POSSIBLY still have any relevance.

I was about to ask where this “report: resides, then realized it’s just ANOTHER example of how Micro$oft blows.

It’s not a report, is it?

There’s no instances in the registry of this, so how can I deduce why msvcr100.dll is crashing explorer.exe on this build? recent changes include:

uninstallation/reinstallation of ms c++ redistributables (2005 required to resolve side-by-side issue caused by Ntune, required to resolve Nvidia’s overclocked default GPU settings resulting in extended display FREEZING the OS).

Amateurs.
