How do I bypass the sysprep error in Windows 7 when migrating to new hardware?

I tried doing sysprep as suggested in your article about moving a hard drive with Windows 7 to new hardware.

After few seconds after posting, I am getting an error message from System Preparation Tool 3.14:

“a fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine”

Any suggestions, please?
