What type of polarised glasses do I need for watching 3D videos with Poer DVD 14?

What kind of polarized 3D glasses(circular polarized or linear polarized) glass do I need to watch 3d videos?

I am using HP pavilion g6 2008tx laptop which has a LCD display. In Cyberlink Power DVD 14, there is a option to play 2D video files as 3D which is Micro-polarized LCD 3D (Row interleaved).

When I enable the 3D with Micro-polarized LCD 3D in Cyberlink Power DVD, its looks the same when I take of the 3D glasses while watching 3d movies in a cinema hall. I browsed the web and came to know that I need a polarized 3D glass to watch it but poarized 3d glasses are of 2 types-circular and linear. Which one do I need?
