How can I install Windows software from DVD on my Linux PC?

http://ift.tt/1iZHv9S

Hi!

I am trying to run a program from a DVD without success. I read the question How can I load software from CD using Wine under Linux? which is similar in my case and tried to do as Jeffery Fabish suggested, but that did not help.

The software is an educational program for children; I can’t find a specific name on it. and I can’t even find out what version of Wine I am using but just installed it yesterday so should be the latest. I copied the files to the desktop and tried to run the autorun.exe file, then this installshield wizard-window comes up and wants to install this learning program, but after clicking the forward button nothing at all happens.

What to do…? thanks so much for help!
