Google Job Search Tool Updated To Show More Relevant Information

The Google Job Search Tool has been around since June of this year. The company has been improving the way it functions, helping job seekers easily find for jobs using Google Search. It all makes sense too, Google Search is the biggest search engine in the world, and a large number of people are always in search of jobs! Why not put them together and bring forward jobs on Google Search! In a latest update today, this Google job search tool has been updated to provide more relevant information.

Google’s reports point at the fact that over 85% of job seekers do not know the average salary for the job. This new update to the Google Job Search Tool is all set to change things as it will now be curating salary information from various sources such as Glassdoor, PayScale, LinkedIn, Paysa, etc. These will be estimated salary ranges based on job title, location and employer.

Google also points out another thing that many job seekers are looking for location specific jobs, while there are some who are looking for a job irrespective of the location. Google has now introduced a location filter which shows a range of distances, from two miles up to 200 miles or “anywhere”.

In addition to these two changes, Google also realizes that many users have built their professional profiles on websites like Monster, Indeed and LinkedIn, etc. Job Seekers using the Google Job Search Tool now have an option to select a preference when they apply – making it easy for them to import their professional information from their platform of choice.

In yet another improvement to the Google Job Search tool, Google has now added the feature to ‘save’ jobs – users can now bookmark their favorite jobs and can apply later, when they have more time to go through it! Job hunting can be really stressful, however with Google’s latest updates, the process is now easier than it used to be.
