The Google Lens officially begun to roll out for all users about a week ago. Since then, many users have experimented around with it. Today marked the first update to the Google Lens since its launch – this update brings a number of new features such as the ability ot remember images, import to keep and translate.
- Similar to how the Google Assistant can be told to remember things, Google Lens too, can remember things in context to images. Remembered images can be viewed later on along with the information you asked Google to remember.
- Another interesting update to the Lens now allows easier imports to Google Keep. Images can be saved on Google Keep by voice command or by tapping the import to keep suggestion bubble.
- Finally, image translations – which Google has been touting since Google I/O 2017 are finally live! You can now point at images and ask Google Lens to translate them to the language of your choice.
