Prank Your Friends With Hair on Screen Google Chrome Extension

One of the most irritating and annoying feelings that you tend to face as a computer user is when there’s a hair on your display. You can now prank your friends that there’s a hair on screen! This has been made possible with the help of a Google Chrome extension which places a small, thin line on your display, making you feel like there’s a hair on your screen.

Can you spot the hair on screen here?

However, this hair won’t go no matter how hard you rub your display. It for a while but it becomes really visible and starts to obstruct your view when you’re on a white background. Many users have the willpower to simply ignore it and keep working. However many users (such as me) have as strong OCD when it comes to computer displays and I can’t really function till that hair is removed.

We all love to pull pranks on our friends. While sometimes people tend to take offence on pranks, some pranks are really harmless and fun to do. For instance, you can install the Hair on Screen Google Chrome extension on your friends’ PC and they’d keep wondering why this piece of hair won’t go.

How To Install Hair on Screen Google Chrome Extension:

  • Open the Google Chrome browser on your friends’ PC.
  • Install the Hair on Screen extension from here.
  • Tap on ‘Add to Chrome’ button on the top right.
  • A confirmation box would open up, tap on ‘Add Extension’ there.

The extension will now be added and it will appear on the top right corner of the browser, next to the URL bar. You can right-click on the extension button to add more hair or to randomize the position of the hair on the screen. After you’re done setting it up you can right click on the Hair on Screen extension button and hide it!
