Diagnose PTSD By Answering a Quiz on Google Search

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is one of the most common forms of mental health conditions that many individuals suffer from after they go through a hard time in life. If you are searching for PTSD or other related search terms, Google will now prompt you to answer a quiz which has 5 questions, the results to which can tell you if you are likely to be suffering from this disorder.

By tapping “check if you may have PTSD,” you can answer a private questionnaire to assess your likelihood of having PTSD and have a more informed conversation with your doctor. Getting an in-person assessment is essential to a diagnosis of PTSD, and this commonly- used screening tool gives you important information you can bring to your appointment.

In the past, Google has had a similar tool for diagnosing depression. This is a good move from Google and will help drive more users towards getting a clinical treatment of this serious ailment.
