Every December, YouTube declares its list of top trending videos in India. Following the same tradition, YouTube India has now announced the top 10 Videos of the year, as well as the top 10 Music Videos of 2017. Check out this list below to see if your favorite video or music video has made it to the list!
YouTube India: Top Trending Videos of 2017
- BB Ki Vines: Bhuvan Bam, known for BB ki Vines has been an internet darling in India for years. This year too, his video – ‘Group Study’ made it to the top 10.
- Jimikki Kammal: Indian School of Commerce – A group of students from the Indian School of Commerce performed a dance on Jimikki Kammal – the popular Malyalam Song! This made it to the top of YouTube’s top 10 Trending Videos in India.
- Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You (Kyle Hanagami Choreography): An international sensation, it was obvious that this song was going to be a major hit in India too.
- Make Joke Of: Chacha Ke Patakhe: One of the most popular and viral channels on YouTube India this year, it is no surprise that Make Joke Of made it to the top 10 list of YouTube India. Their videos with the Kanpuriya twist of humor have been everywhere on social media!
- Amit Bhadana’s ‘That Dumb Friend in Every Group’: YouTubers are rising in India and one of YouTube’s rising stars is Amit Bhadana – his video ‘that dumb friend in every group’ went viral this year and made it to the top 10.
- Unique Rangoli Design: A video helping housewives make better rangoli caught the attention of over 9.3 Million users, bringing it to the top 10 videos on YouTube India in 2017
- Kangana Ranaut on Aap Ki Adalat: Our collective love for scandals and controversies propelled this video to the top 10 this year! This is the video which led to the ‘Itna sara paisa’ meme.
- Cheez Badi DANCE COVER | Machine | Mustafa & Kiara: Tu cheez badi hai mast mast returned to make us tap our feet – and videos around this song too, made it huge!
- Mehndi Design: Indian houswives are at it again! With over 13 Million views – this video which instructs you on how to create various designs on your hand with mehndi was one of the top 10 videos of the year on YouTube India.
- Zakir Khan – Life Me Chahiye Izzat: ‘Sakht Launda’ Zakir Khan is one of the funniest comics in the country. Many of his popular videos are viral and this bit where he talks about izzat in life was trending on YouTube India!
