What are the limits for local email storage with Postbox?

http://ift.tt/1udLh29

Right now I have a very large inbox archived with Mailstore Home Edition. I would like to move from using Mailstore as it appears that there is a limit of the amount of emails that I can store. Yes it is for personal use as I have several email addresses over the years.

The other day I picked up a copy of Postbox and I’m looking at moving everything to that. My only question is – can the mbox format handle very large mailboxes? What the max size can mbox handle?

Thank-you :)

Why does my computer restart when trying to switch users?

http://ift.tt/1iZHv9S

Windows restarts when second user logs on.

We have a shared PC at home and whenever someone else tries to log into their account, and someone is already logged on, Windows is just restarting, rather than letting the second person log in. I have tried Google but I can’t even find other people having this problem.

I have a fairly new (less than a year) Toshiba PX30t All-In-One running 8GB and an i7-4700MQ.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Why has my external hard drive suddenly become write protected?

http://ift.tt/1iZHv9S

I have an Iomega 1TB portable external harddrive. I’ve been using it on my windows laptop for the last year or so basically for storing photos. I hadn’t used it in 2 months or so, and just went to move some more photos onto it, and the following message comes up:

The disk is write protected. Remove the write protection or use another disk” – Try Again or Cancel.

I don’t understand. Nothing’s changed. I can still access all the photos on the hard drive, so I don’t think it’s corrupted. It’s just that I can’t copy any more new photos onto it. I’ve only used about 150GB so still heaps of room.

I’ve searched forums, and tried the command diskpart process for both the volume and the disk, and that doesnt appear to have worked, even after rebooting. I would appreciate some thoughts from some experts (my IT knowledge is not very strong!!)!

Thanks in anticipation.
