Is it possible to install and use OpenWRT on my router using a Windows Operating System ? I am very much new to customizing the router, so I have very little knowledge on this. It would be a great help if I could be given the steps to make it happen.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC. When I install software, a Windows Media Center Window opens and I can’t install the software. Also, when I open the control panel and go to “Uninstall or change program” and turn a Windows’ feature on or off again, the Window Media Center window opens and I can’t install my software. Help me please.
