The Security Certifications team has global responsibility for achieving and maintaining independent security certifications and approvals of BlackBerry products.
The team is active in international and regional programs and its members are recognised as information assurance professionals and trusted experts. The Security Certifications team is the driving reason behind BlackBerry being the most approved mobile solution available.
Several programs run within the team, these include the Common Criteria, Cryptographic Module Validation Program (FIPS 140-2), CESG, Australasian Information Security Evaluation Program, and NATO Information Assurance Technical Centre.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will greatly contribute to the success of the security certification program for the BlackBerry product family. The Certification Manager will work with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the successful completion of certification projects within the Program.
The Certification Manager will:
•Manage multiple, concurrent evaluation projects and schedules
•Provide technical and subject matter expertise required to support certification projects
•Regularly communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders
•Communicate certification requirements to internal development teams
•Maintain current knowledge of certification program
•Assemble and generate certification evidence
•Facilitate third-party certification testing
